We would like to inform you that the object number of the mounting plate (1) for replacing or removing the integrated starter alternator' (A79) will be available in the XENTRY Portal parts information as from October 2018.
The mounting plate (1) is required to fix the stator and rotor in place.
Otherwise, the integrated starter alternator (A79) will be damaged during removal.
To return the damaged part of the integrated starter alternator (A79), the mounting plate (1) must be installed and all 4 bolts tightened to a torque of 7 Nm (+-0.8 Nm).
When a new integrated starter alternator (A79) is ordered it comes with a mounting plate (1).
If the integrated starter alternator (A79) is not included in the original packaging with the mounted mounting plate (1) at the inspection point, the entire warranty costs will not be invoiced.
