 To achieve a targeted inspection of the alternators in the event of a W&G claim, as from July 2011 the following documentation must be included with the damaged part for return delivery:

 Customer complaint (to be filled out by workshop personnel)

 Fault freeze frame data

 Control unit log

 Vehicle data (VIN, kilometer reading)

 Quick test report

 Printout of alternator diagnosis

 "Midtronics" test log for battery test
