A Safety latch in final locking position
B Safety latch in pre-locking position
Due to recent events we would like to point out the following information on the proper removal/installation of the plug coupling with safety latch (5) and the increased use of this type of plug. This lock is also known by the manufacturer's designation "CPA lock".
The safety latch (5) can only be actuated after the catch hook (3) of the plug coupling has engaged. This ensures that the coupling connection is securely locked when the safety latch (5) is in its final locking position (A).
Removal of plug coupling
Slide safety latch (5) from the final locking position (A) into the pre-locking position (B). After this pull off plug coupling towards the lines by applying light pressure on the safety latch (5).
Installation of plug coupling
Before mounting, the safety latch (5) must be in its pre-locking position (B). After mounting the plug coupling, the safety latch (5) must be pressed out of the pre-locking position (B) into the final locking position (A). Check by visual inspection.
In future this type of plug will be used on other systems.
