When using the new IRIDIUM spark plugs
A 004 159 41 03 in each case the electrode gap should be checked before installation and adjusted if necessary.

Required setting: 0.35 mm, permissible tolerance +/- 0.05 mm.

It is absolutely essential to maintain the adjustment value of 0.35 mm otherwise uneven engine idle may occur.
