Because of the unjustified removal of components from the SCR exhaust aftertreatment system, in particular, the AdBlue® delivery module, AdBlue® metering valve, AdBlue® container or the AdBlue® pressure line, the guided tests for functional and electrical faults in these components have been improved in XENTRY Diagnostics. If the test indicates that a component should be replaced, a test log can be printed out.
Where a problem occurs involving functional and electrical faults then before replacing the components mentioned the guided test for each component should be conducted using XENTRY Diagnostics.
The tests can be found in XENTRY Diagnostics via the corresponding control unit of the SCR exhaust aftertreatment system under the tab "Tests". The components mentioned may only be replaced for functional and electrical faults when a “Component defective” test result is returned.
When returning parts through the warranty channels, the XENTRY diagnostics test result should be printed out and included with the problem part.
An AdBlue® delivery module, AdBlue® metering valve, AdBlue® container and AdBlue® pressure line without an attached printout of the test result will not be accepted in a warranty and goodwill case.
