1 Turbocharger
2 Wastegate control line
We would like to point out that the connection of the wastegate control line (2) on the turbocharger (1) can loosen due to pre-tension losses or settling properties of the sealing rings.
Should this be the case the boost pressure limitation via the wastegate control does not function.
Therefore on the engines listed the connection of the wastegate control line (2) must be checked for tight seating during the maintenance service.
A connection which has loosened can be sealed with copper sealing rings. For this purpose, the sealing rings listed in the Parts Ordering Note table should be used as an alternative.
Aluminum sealing rings must not be installed.
Sealing the wastegate control line (2) can be invoiced with operation no. 02 68 61.
