If on vehicles with production date up to 04/2009 the air filter monitoring sensor of the Siemens VDO company is replaced by the air filter monitoring sensor of the Continental company in addition the adapter cable (see Parts ordering notes) must be ordered and installed at the same time.
This is necessary as the air filter monitoring sensor of the Continental company has a new connection.
