Please remember that, due to the change in basic conditions, the above-listed MercedesAMG engines will have a time-limited reduction in engine output during a cold start. When the engine's operating temperature is reached, the full engine output and the full engine torque are immediately available.
This new technical feature is already in effect as of modification year 19/1. The driver of the vehicle is notified of this by an information label in the windshield (as with the running-in note) and a separate insert included in the operator's manual.
As from modification year 20/1, the insert and information label are no longer required because this information is now incorporated into the operator's manual ("Driving and parking" chapter) as well as by an additional cold start symbol in the vehicle's instrument cluster.
