The following must be observed when replacing the drive plate in vehicles with engine 272, 273 and transmission 722:
Spacer washer A 273 032 00 52 is to be installed between new drive plate A 273 030 03 12 and crankshaft.
Spacer washer A 112 032 02 52 to be installed between the bolt heads and the drive plate.
Furthermore, the screw-in depth of bolts A 007 990 88 04 in the drive plate may be insufficient due to unfavorable tolerances.
Therefore, the torque converter has to be fastened using bolts N 007 984 010 036 and washers A 327 990 06 40 to the new drive plate.
This procedure is to be followed until further notice.
