42 - 0840 Removal and installation of electronic control unit

Caution
Only remove or install the electronic control unit when the ignition is switched off.
Removal, installation
1 Detach fixing clips for cover in front passenger footwell. Remove cover.

2 Open retaining clip.
3 Remove electronic control unit from the bracket.
4 Operate locking device and detach plug from electronic control unit.

Installation note
Install plug as illustrated. The lug (1) on the plug must engage visibly in the fixing (2) on control unit.
Perform function test.
