Cause/remedy:
Reduction in coefficient of friction on clutch linings of transmissions with high mileages. As slip mainly occurs during 2-3 shift, a modified spring pack is available for damper plunger of clutch K1.
P27-5226-13
1. Remove transmission oil pan.
2. Unscrew end plate (85) and remove damper plunger with spring pack.
Part number of spring pack K1:
126 270 44 77
P27-2372-13
3. Insert damper plunger (48) with new spring pack, ensuring that sealing rings on damper plunger are not damaged.
4 Screw on end plate (85) and install oil pan.
