The parts painted in a contrasting color are filled and the final paint coat is applied before they are bonded.
All remaining SMC parts are filled with the Spacecage after they are bonded, in other words in assembled condition, and the top coat is applied using a wet on wet process.
Remarks:
SMC parts for the replacement part area are also painted at SAG in arctic white, same as for the factory finish.
