Cavity protection
The preservative wax (cavity wax) is introduced into the cavities through the holes provided using automatically controlled high-pressure spray equipment (120 bar).
Continuous coating and consistent quality is guaranteed by the electronic closed-loop control system (IGS method) for the preservation wax application equipment.

The longitudinal members are flooded with hot cavity wax at 90°C. For this the body is tilted through approx. 45° so that the excess wax can drain off. An even wax layer remains.
The wax film remains permanently flexible once it has dried out.
