Function sequence "switching off in partial or full load mode"

 The heater (1) is switched on with the timer (12).

 The heater is operating at full load or partial load.

 The heater can be switched off manually with the timer.

 The heater then switches to the cooling phase with shut-off delay:

- The fuel supply is interrupted immediately by switching off the fuel metering pump (11).

- The combustion and hot air blower (3) continues to run for 35 seconds at 60 % of its maximum speed, cooling the combustion chamber and flushing out any combustion gases.

- As soon as the flame monitor (5) recognizes "flame off", the combustion and hot air blower speed is increased to maximum speed for 60 seconds.

- Then the speed of the combustion and hot air blower is reduced in increments to "zero" during the next
60 seconds.

 After expiration of the shut-off delay period all heater components are switched off.

Function sequence "switching off during controlled shut-off phase"

 If fuel is not being supplied and the heater is in the controlled shut-off phase, the heater is switched off immediately without starting the shut-off delay.
