Audio/COMAND, general
The radio/radio with navigation (N87/8) is the central control unit for the entertainment and communication systems. The displays and menu views for the functions are generated in the radio/radio with navigation and shown on the integrated display.
With code E1N (Becker MAP PILOT)
Displays and menu views for the navigation system on the radio/radio with navigation display are generated by the Becker® MAP PILOT control unit.
The radio/radio with navigation is connected via interior CAN (CAN B) and on vehicles with code E1N (Becker MAP PILOT) also via telematics CAN (CAN A) to the vehicle electronics.
