The rear display (left or right) has the following functions:
Displaying video images, graphical displays and control menus
Receiving and implementing control signals via finger navigation
Sending audio signals to radio frequency headphones via a wireless interface
Providing connections for the following audio/video sources and headphones:
USB (Universal Serial Bus) port
Headphone connection for cabled headphones
HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) connection
Reception of operation signals from the tablet PC or from a smartphone with corresponding Mercedes-Benz app (depending on equipment)
Communication with head unit

Location
The rear display (left or right) is fastened to the rear side of the respective front seat with a holder.
Structure
Touch-sensitive display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080
Connections:
Headphone connection for cabled headphones or headsets
USB connection
HDMI connection
CAN interface (for safeguarding subnetwork operation)
Wireless interface (for transferring audio signals to radio frequency headphones)
Holder which allows for manual adjustment of the incline angle (in the vertical).
