General
Heating of the spray nozzles and spray nozzle hose prevents the washer fluid from freezing in the spray nozzle hose and the spray nozzles or thaws it out again.
Function requirement

Heat spray nozzles and spray nozzle hose
Heating of the spray nozzles and the spray nozzle hose is switched on at an outside temperature of less than 5 °C.
During windshield washing, the heating is switched off. The heating is switched on again 5 s after the washing is finished.
If the outside temperature rises to above 8 °C, the heating is switched off.
The heating of the spray nozzles and the spray nozzle hose is switched off for an undervoltage event on the on-board electrical system by the energy management by means of consumer reduction.
