The PSE control module (combined) (A37) controls the acoustic signal sequence. The sequence differs depending on the national version.

The alarm horn (H3) is actuated directly by the PSE control module. The alarm siren with auxiliary battery (H3/1) is actuated by the signal acquisition and actuation module (SAM) (N10/1) via the CAN bus.
The alarm can be discontinued by activating or deactivating the ATA. After discontinuation of the alarm the ATA remains active.
