MODEL 170 up to 31.5.98 with CODE (552a) Anti-theft alarm (ATA) for Switzerland
The anti-towing sensor (TS) can be switched off with the anti-towing sensor/status indicator switch (S85/3) in the center console.
Switch-off must be accomplished with the anti-theft alarm (ATA) deactivated and ignition switched off (circuit 15 off).
Press the switch up to switch off the TS. Actuation of the switch is registered by the PSE control module (combined) (A37).
After releasing the switch successful switch-off is indicated by the LED in the switch coming on continuously for two seconds.
When the ATA is activated the next time the TS remains off.
Switching off the TS feature is effective only for one ATA activation period. If desired it must be switched off again before activating the ATA again.
