Locking/unlocking switch for door, purpose

With the locking/unlocking switch (S63) both vehicle doors can be locked or unlocked from the driver's or passenger seat.

On vehicles equipped with anti-theft alarm (ATA) the switch simultaneously activates and deactivates this system's warning circuits.

On vehicles equipped with extended locking system the extended locking functions for open windows and open sliding/pop-up roof is not possible with this switch.
