Door catch switch, purpose

A door catch switch (S74 and S75) is present for each of the locking motors in the driver's and passenger doors.

The door catch switches have two changeover switches each for signaling
to the central locking/extended central locking control module the current status of the doors, open or closed.
The control module requires this information because when the locking procedure is started it actuates the locking motor only when the door is clearly closed.
