Operation

The engine-brake's electro-pneumatic valve (33.01), when actuated permits the air passage from the air reservoir (5.01) to the engine-brake actuation cylinder (20.05).

The engine-brake pneumatic cylinder (20.05) actuates the throttle of the engine-brake, which is (normally) located in the engine exhaust circuit.
