Task
To shut down engine when ignition is set to "OFF"
Function
When the ignition key in the glow/starter switch (S2/2) is switched to "STOP", the DFI [EVE] control module (N3/8) detects a voltage drop at circuit 15U.
The DFI [EVE] control module (N3/8) closes the shut-off valve (Y23/2y1), thereby interrupting the supply of fuel to the delivery section of the DFI [EVE] distributor pump (Y23/2). The self-holding control in the DFI [EVE] control module (N3/8) provides for approximately 4 s of voltage supply to the overvoltage protection relay (K1) or relay module (K40) via the HRL circuit,
thus ensuring the operation of the engine off function.
