Fuel temperature sensor - location | The fuel temperature sensor (B10) is located under the charge air housing in direction of travel right front, between the cylinder 1 unit pump (Y6) and the cylinder 2 unit pump (Y7). | ||
Fuel temperature sensor - task | The fuel temperature sensor (B10) allows the engine control (MR) to detect the current fuel temperature and to deduce from this the fuel mass which is needed for a number of purposes including calculation of the fuel delivery quantity. | ||
