The fuel temperature sensor (B10) is located on the front end of the engine, on the right between the fuel filter and cylinder head.

Fuel temperature sensor, task

The engine control (MR) records the current fuel temperature with the fuel temperature sensor (B10) and derives the fuel quantity from it, which, among other things, is used to calculate the quantity delivered.
