Function
The slide valve actuator (Y23/3l1) is an inductive angular sensor which operates on the short circuit ring sensor principle.
A voltage which exists in the sensor coils (b) produces a magnetic alternating field which induces a current in the electrically conductive short circuit rings (c and d).
The exact signal for the control module is formed from the ratio of the resistances of the moving measured short circuit ring (d) and the fixed reference short circuit ring (c). The measured short circuit ring is firmly connected to the positioning shaft (11/27).
