Material and form of the intermediate piece altered
The intermediate piece (1) (rubber wrapped) was altered to be an intermediate piece (2) made out of die-casting (GD-AlSi) or permanent mold casting (GK-AlSi). Two sealing rings (3) were also mounted in the altered intermediate piece (2).
Sealing of the oil pressure line from the turbocharger to the charge air housing has been improved by this alteration.
If wear occurs on intermediate piece (1) then it will be replaced by intermediate piece (2) with sealing rings (3).
