Installation of beaded steel seal on front camshaft sprocket cover
The seal has been modified from Omnifit FD 10 sealant to beaded steel seal (2) with an elastomer coating on both sides
Due to the sealing thickness of the beaded steel seal (2) of 0.35 mm, always replace camshaft sprocket cover when converting from Omnifit FD 10 sealant to beaded steel seal (2), otherwise the belt drive can be damaged or noises can occur
This modification improved sealing between camshaft sprocket cover (1) and crankcase.
