1 Make 10 mm dia. hole in removed instrument cluster cover as shown in illustration.

2 Insert control unit (6) into cover from rear with nut (5) and serrated washer (4).
3 Push adjustment dial (3) onto threaded rod and fasten with counter nut (2).

To ensure that adjustment knob (1) is properly seated the counternut (2) must be flush with the thread on the adjustment rod (7). If necessary correct position with
nut (5).
4 Install adjustment knob (1) on threaded rod.
5 Route wiring harness from air heater with 4-pin connector for connection to control unit from driver's footwell along A-pillar upward to instrument cluster and in front of detached instrument cluster to middle of instrument panel.
6 Connect 4-pin connector to control unit.
