Risk of death
Freely spinning parts in the area of the running engine and of the power train, as well as in the area of the roller dynamometer rollers may cause serious injuries with risk of death.
Protection measures or behavior rules
The dynamometer is to be operated only by trained staff.
Before placing the vehicle on the roller dynamometer, the driver must make sure the roller dynamometer is ready to be operated (master switch ON).
While the vehicle is on the roller dynamometer it is forbidden to stay under the vehicle or in the pit.
While the vehicle is on the roller dynamometer, the driver may leave his driver position only in a case of emergency.
During the tests, nobody may remain in the area of the rollers, of the wheels or of the transmission shafts.
In cases of emergency, turn-off the roller dynamometer through the red EMERGENCY DISCONNECTION switch.
