The following types of permanent underfloor protection can be used:

 Permanent underbody protection agent (synthetic rubber), dark gray

 The permanent underfloor protection has a synthetic rubber-base and is suitable for application to fender bottom parts, underfloor as well as transitions to underbody protection processed at the factory.

 Permanent underfloor protection (water-soluble suspension), gray

 This permanent underbody protection agent is a water-base suspension suitable for use on the underbody, fender bottom sections as well as paneling.  For processing on the paneling (e. g. on fender below bumper or at longitudinal member at entrance), the permanent underfloor protection shall be diluted with 5% water to obtain a better application.

 Do not spray permanent underbody protection agent on assemblies.
Malfunctions may occur otherwise.

 The permanent underfloor protection is not suited for sealing work (seam sealant).

1	Clean surfaces.

All surfaces that will be provided with permanent underfloor protection.

 Thoroughly remove wax, oil residues and loose PVC material.

 Commercially available devices/tools Flat-spray nozzle with integrated scraper Rotary wire brush

2	Grind corroded points down to bare metal and prime.

 Commercially available devices/tools Rotary wire brush

3	Apply permanent underfloor protection uniformly with spray gun.

 Observe drying time before painting.
