1 | Remove ignition key from ignition lock | ||
2 | Remove screws/bolts (1) on rear of steering wheel and remove airbag unit (4) from steering wheel | Bolt, airbag to steering wheel | |

4 | Remove electrical connector (3) from airbag unit (4) | Removal lever | |
5 | Remove airbag unit (4) | When replacing the airbag unit (4), ensure proper and environmentally friendly disposal. | |
6 | Replace steering wheel | Only if airbag unit (4) has been triggered. | |
7 | Install in the reverse order | ||
8 | Connect diagnostic system and perform quick test | ||

9 | Read out fault memory of the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) and delete fault memory |
