Application of firing device
To ignite the emergency tensioning retractors with the ETR test connector (X11/7) or on vehicles with airbag with the SRS test connector (X11/13), a separate self-made adapter cable is required which is not included with the firing device, part no.

1 Switch off ignition, disconnect negative pole on battery and cover.
2 To fire emergency tensioning retractors, disconnect 4-pin connector (X11/7) below front right door sill molding.
3 Press pressure switch (2) and simultanously pressure switch (3) at the specified safety distance (10 m, corresponds to ignition cable length). After triggering, control lamp (5) comes on.
4 Connect connector on adapter cable (10) with 4-pin plug and repeat step 5.
