1 | Put seat angle adjustment mechanism in uppermost position | ||
2 | Remove seat cushion | ||
3 | Remove lower side paneling on the front seat | ||
4 | Remove rivets (8) on bellows (11) and put bellows downwards | ||
5 | Press one of the two detents (5) inward and pull out locking device (1) with Bowden cable (4) on unlocked side | ||
6 | Remove cover (7) from housing (2) | ||
7 | Remove detents (5) with compression springs (6) | ||
8 | Pull driver (3) out of housing (2) and detach Bowden cable (4) at driver (3) | ||
9 | Detach Bowden cable (4) from housing (2) | ||
| Install | ||
10 | Attach Bowden cable (4) in the right-hand bore of the driver (3) and insert driver into the housing (2) | ||
11 | Attach Bowden cable (4) in the housing (2) | ||
12 | Attach compression springs (6) in the detents (5) and insert into the housing (2) | the detents are inserted into the housing in the outer end position, in doing so the lug of the detent must grasp the respective pin of the driver (3). | |
13 | Press compression springs (6) into the recess in the housing (2) and latch cover (7) into the housing | ||
14 | Pull Bowden cable (4) through the recess in the upper part of suspension (9) | ||
15 | Insert arresting mechanism (1) into the upper part of suspension (9) | Place one of the two detents (5) in front of the groove in the upper part of suspension (9) and press in. Then press in the second detent (5) and press the cover (7) onto the housing (2) to secure. Then push the complete locking device(1) into the upper part of suspension (9) until both detents (5) are engaged | |
16 | Press seat frame (10) downward and check latch positions | ||
17 | Position CV boot and secure with rivets (8) | ||
18 | Install lower side paneling on the front seat | ||
19 | Install seat cushion |
