1 | Remove seat backrest | ||
2 | Unhook holddown spring (9) from seat frame | ||
3 | Remove drive plate (7), toothed element (6), bearing sleeve (8) and hexagon socket head screw (5) | ||
4 | Remove counternut (10) and holddown spring (9) | Check all parts for wear and replace according to condition. | |
| Install | ||
5 | Insert driver (A) of pin (7) into mounting hole of toothed element (6) and slide onto bearing sleeve (8) | ||
6 | Insert bearing sleeve (8) in seat frame and lock in place using hexagon socket head screw (5) | Grease all parts thoroughly. | |
The flat side of the toothed element (arrow) points toward the outside. | |||
7 | Insert holddown spring (9) into drive plate (7) and turn in counternut (10) | ||
8 | Tighten hexagon socket head screw (5) | | |
9 | Insert holddown spring (9) into seat frame | ||
10 | Install seat backrest |
