Risk of explosion caused by fuel vapors igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling combustible gases and risk of injury caused by burns during and after operation of heater unit	Do not operate stationary heater, auxiliary heater or engine with heater booster in closed areas or when refueling.  Danger!	Risk of explosion caused by escaping oxyhydrogen gas. Risk of injury caused by caustic burns to eyes, skin and mucous membranes from battery electrolyte (contains diluted sulfuric acid) or metal spatter due to short circuit. Risk of poisoning caused by swallowing battery electrolyte (contains diluted sulfuric acid) or absorption of lead over the skin or orifices	No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking. 1	Disconnect ground lead from battery	 Do not interrupt main battery current in heater mode or in the power-down phase.
2	Remove storage compartment	With body 942.899 only	AR88.60-W-3171A
3	Remove heater	Body 942.899	AR83.70-W-5302A
		Bodies 940.899, 972.899	AR83.70-W-5302C
		Bodies 375.840, 944.899	AR83.70-W-5302F
4	Remove upper housing segment and covers		AR83.70-W-5936-01A
5	Remove controller board	Do not touch controller board tracks.	AR83.70-W-5936A
6	Remove gasket (5)	 Installation: Install new gasket
7	Remove heater from lower housing segment (7)	 Installation: Insert heated-air inflow unit into the guide groove.	AR83.70-W-5807-01A
8	Remove heated air inflow (2) and insulation (6)
9	Remove combustion and heated air blower (3)	 Installation: Install new gasket
		Use Loctite to lock screws (1) in place.	*BR00.45-Z-1001-02A
10	Install in the reverse order
11	Check function of stationary heater		AR83.70-W-5302-02A
12	Measure emission level, adjust if necessary		AR83.70-W-1177A
