Remove right fender liner from front fender

Drain coolant

Detach coolant hoses (2) from coolant lines

 Seal using suitable stop plug.

 Record plug

Unscrew nut (1) from bracket of stationary heater unit (A6)

Detach fuel hose (4) from fuel line

 Seal using suitable stop plug.

 Record plug

Detach coolant hoses (3) from coolant lines

 Seal using suitable stop plug.

 Record plug

Detach molded hose (5)

Disconnect electrical connectors (6) at stationary heater control unit (A6n1)

Remove cable tie (9)

 Installation: Replace cable tie (9).

Unscrew nut (10)

Unfasten nut (7) for bracket of stationary heater unit (A6)

Remove stationary heater unit (A6) with bracket from body

 Helper required.

Disconnect electrical connectors (8)

15

Detach coolant hose (11)

 Seal using suitable stop plug.

 Record plug

Detach cable tie on rear of bracket for stationary heater unit (A6)

 Installation: Replace cable tie.

Remove stationary heater unit (A6) with bracket from wheel arch

Detach coolant hoses (13) from stationary heater unit (A6)

19

Remove screws/bolts (12) from bracket of stationary heater unit (A6)

20

Remove stationary heater unit (A6) from bracket

21

Install in the reverse order
