Remove/install

Drain air conditioning system

Remove engine air intake duct downstream of air filter

Slacken poly-V-belt and remove

Disconnect electrical connector (6) at refrigerant compressor

Remove refrigerant lines from refrigerant compressor and seal openings

 Installation: Replace sealing rings of high-pressure lines.

 Bolt, refrigerant line to A/C compressor

Remove screws/bolts (3, 4, 5)

 Secure refrigerant compressor against falling down.

 Bolt, A/C compressor to engine

Remove refrigerant compressor from engine compartment upwards

Install in the reverse order

Perform break in of the refrigerant compressor

When replacing the refrigerant compressor.


