1 | Switch off the ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS control unit | On vehicles with code (889) Keyless-Go, press KEYLESS-GO start/stop button repeatedly until ignition is switched off. Remove Keyless-Go chip card or transmitter key from vehicle and store beyond the reach of the transmitter (at least 2 m). | |
2 | Open engine hood and raise to vertical position | ||
3 | Unclip and remove cover (1) | ||
4 | Disconnect electrical connector (2) from AAC multifunction sensor (B31/1) | ||
5 | Remove AAC multifunction sensor (B31/1) | Installation: The white sensor surfaces on the AAC [KLA] multifunction sensor (B31/1) must point toward the air inlet. | |
6 | Install in the reverse order |
