Danger! | Risk of explosion from welding or braizing work on closed air conditioning system. Risk of poisoning from inhaling overheated refrigerant vapors. Risk of injury from skin and eye contact with liquid refrigerant. | Do not carry out any welding work on the closed air conditioning system or in the surrounding area. No smoking or naked flames. Wear eye protection and protective gloves. Work only in well ventilated areas. Do not carry out repair work on the circuit of the air conditioning system unless the system is drained.
| Notes for handling R134a refrigerant | All models with R134a refrigerant | |
1 | Connect aspiration, processing and charging equipment | Connect intake and pressure lines of the aspiration, processing and charging equipment to the test and filling valve on the intake side (1) and pressure side (2).
2 | Activate stationary air-conditioning unit's solenoid valve | Only models 950-954 with Code (H09) stationary air conditioning
3 | Drain air-conditioning system | Slowly open the valve on the aspiration, processing and charging equipment. Opening the valve slowly helps to prevent the refrigerant discharge entraining the compressor oil from the circuit.
4 | Switch off the aspiration, processing and charging equipment, remove the intake and pressure lines |
