Attach overflow hose (2) to expansion reservoir (1).

Remove cap from small opening of  filling unit and firmly press overflow hose (2) into the fitting.

Slide up insulation on return line (5).

 Attach clamping device (4) to return line (5).

 The return line (5) must be tightly sealed  with the clamping device (4). Otherwise filling is not possible.

Open shut-off tap at  filling unit.

 The  filling unit must be filled with at least 7 liters of coolant for filling the coolant circuit.
The sealing tap of the  filling unit must be located min. 50 cm higher than the service valve (3).

Switch on coolant pump (A41 m1) with Star Diagnosis and allow it to run until bubble-free coolant is flowing out of the overflow hose (2) into the  filling unit.

 If after approx. 3 minutes there is still no bubble-free coolant running through the overflow hose, the return line (5) is not sealed airtight by the clamping device (4).

Close shut-off tap at  filling unit.

 Detach clamping device (4) from return line (5).

Switch off coolant pump (A41 m1) with Star Diagnosis.

Wait approx. 1 minute until the return line (5) has filled up.

 The fluid level in the expansion reservoir (1) drops.

Close off return line (5) with  clamping device (4).

Switch coolant pump (A41 m1) on again with Star Diagnosis.

Open shut-off tap at  filling unit and wait until bubble-free coolant is flowing out of the overflow hose (2) into the  filling unit.

Close shut-off tap at  filling unit.

 Detach clamping device (4) from return line (5).

Allow coolant pump (A41 m1) to run for approximately 2 more minutes. All air is removed from the coolant circuit.

Check the fluid level in the expansion reservoir (1). The fluid level must be level with the "max." mark. If the fluid level has dropped more than 5 mm below the "Max." mark, operation steps 11 to 16 have to be repeated again.

 Detach clamping device (4) from return line (5)

Disconnect quick coupling of  filling unit from service valve (3) of stationary air conditioner.

Fit cap onto service valve (3).

Detach overflow hose (2) from expansion reservoir (1).

Attach cap to expansion reservoir (1).
