Never perform welding work on or near a closed air conditioning system. No smoking or open flames. Wear safety glasses and protective gloves. Work only in well ventilated rooms. Carry out repair work on the air conditioning system circuit only after the system has been evacuated.

Remove/install

Discharge air conditioning system.

Remove left front wheel.

Remove left fender liner.

Remove high-pressure line (5) from refrigerant compressor.



Compressor oils (specification 362.1)

BB00.40-P-0362-01A


Seal high-pressure line (5) and refrigerant compressor immediately using suitable  stop plugs.
Otherwise the air conditioning system can be damaged.

 Installation: Replace sealing ring of high-pressure line (5) and moisten with compressor oil.

Remove left air filter housing (3).

Unscrew screw (4) and remove high-pressure line (5).



Compressor oils (specification 362.1)

BB00.40-P-0362-01A


Seal high-pressure line (5) and condenser immediately using suitable  stop plugs.
Otherwise the air conditioning system can be damaged.

 Installation: Replace sealing ring of high-pressure line (5) and moisten with compressor oil.
