 Danger	Risk of explosion caused by welding or soldering work on closed air conditioning system. Risk of poisoning caused by inhaling overheated refrigerant vapors. Risk of injury to skin and eyes caused by contact with liquid refrigerant.	Never perform welding work on or near a closed air conditioning system. No smoking or open flames. 1	Connect air conditioning service unit and drain (recycling)/evacuate/fill air conditioning system	 When filling the air conditioning system, add new refrigerant compressor oil to refrigerant circuit in the amount equal to the quantity of oil extracted.
		Observe additional oil quantity after replacing parts:

		Correct oil level in air conditioning after changing parts.

2	Disconnect air conditioning service unit
3.1	Remove engine compartment paneling	Vehicles with gasoline engine

		 Only front section of engine compartment lining.
3.2	Remove bottom section of soundproofing	Vehicles with diesel engine

		 Only front section of noise encapsulation.
4	Remove stop plug (1) from condenser (3)	 Installation: Replace sealing rings (1a, 1b) and moisten with refrigerant compressor oil.

5	Pull receiver drier (2) out of condenser (3)	 Installation: Prevent the receiver drier (2) from tilting. Risk of breakage.
		 Check packaging of receiver drier (2) for damage. Receiver driers (2) with damaged packaging must be disposed of. The desiccant cartridge (2) must be installed no more than 20 minutes after opening the packaging.
6	Install in the reverse order
