1 | Remove heat exchanger | ||
2 | Unscrew bolts (2) | ||
3 | Open retainer tab (3) | ||
4 | Remove housing cover (4) from lower part of A/C housing (5) | Installation: Ensure that the housing cover (4) is seated correctly in the peripheral groove in the lower part of the A/C housing (5). | |
5 | Remove evaporator (1) out of lower part of A/C housing (5) | ||
6.1 | Undo screws (6) and remove expansion valve (7) | When replacing the evaporator (1). | |
Installation: Screw in screws (6) into the tapping plate (8) alternately, otherwise the expansion valve (7) will tilt on the connecting pipes. | |||
Installation: Replace sealing rings (10). Moisten thread of screws (6) and sealing rings (10) with compressor oil. | |||
