6 | Remove tensioning springs (4) | Five tensioning springs (4). | |
7 | Remove blower housing (5) from air conditioner housing | ||
8 | Remove bolts (13) | ||
9 | Remove tensioning springs (6) | Ten tensioning springs (6). | |
10 | Remove bolts (1) | ||
11 | Fold evaporator (7) together with cover (8) down to front | ||
12 | Remove tensioning spring (6a) | Slightly pull off right blend air flap actuator (M2/7) together with mechanism | |
13 | Remove cap (8) | ||
14 | Remove gasket (11) | Check gasket (11) for damage and replace if necessary. | |
15 | Remove bolts (9) | Installation: To avoid canting, tighten screws (9) alternately. | |

16 | Remove expansion valve (10) | Plug openings with appropriate plugs. | |
Set of plugs | |||
Installation: Replace O-rings. Moisten threads and O-ring with compressor oil. | |||
17 | Remove evaporator (7) from air conditioner housing. | ||
18 | Clean the base of the air distribution box (12) | ||
19 | Install in the reverse order | ||
20 | Check air conditioning system for proper function |
