1 | Remove heater housing | ||
2 | Fold away retaining bracket (1) from wire (2) and unhook wire (2) at the air recirculation flap | ||
3 | Unhook wire (2) at the blower housing (3) | ||
4 | Separate electrical connectors (4) at the blower motor and series resistor | ||
5 | Remove screws/bolts (5) and remove blower housing (3) | ||
6 | Unclip electrical connector (6) at heater housing upper part (7) | ||
7 | Remove screws/bolts (8) of heater housing upper part (7) at heater housing lower part | ||
8 | Remove clips (9) | ||
9 | Cut seal (10) at the connecting point of heater housing | Installation: Install new seal (10). | |
10 | Remove heater housing upper part (7) upwards from heater housing lower part | Installation: Insert heater housing upper part (7) into guides on heater housing lower part. Ensure the threaded plate at the coolant pipes (11) is seated correctly. | |
11 | Fold out heat exchanger (12) from heater housing upper part (7) and remove | ||
12 | Remove coolant pipes (11) | Only if the heat exchanger (12) is replaced. | |
Installation: Install new seals. | |||
