Remove/install

1

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2  m).

Remove front trunk lining.

Release catch tabs (2) and remove holder (3) with connected control units.


Do not crush or kink or subject electric lines to tension.
This will result in damage to the electric lines and can impair their function.

Unscrew screw (1) and remove HERMES control unit (N112/9).


Do not crush or kink or subject electric lines to tension.
This will result in damage to the electric lines and can impair their function.

Release and disconnect electrical connectors from HERMES control unit (N112/9) and remove HERMES control unit (N112/9).

Install in the reverse order.

Carry out commissioning of HERMES control unit (N112/9).

When replacing the HERMES control unit (N112/9).


