Remove

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m)

Insert removal fixtures (1) in cutouts at multimedia connection unit (2) until the removal fixtures (1) engage

 Upper cutout: The lettering "TOP R" on the removal fixture (1) must point to front.
Lower cutout: The lettering "TOP L" on the removal fixture (1) must point to front.

 Removal assembly

Pull multimedia connection unit (2) out of center console

Disconnect electrical connector (3)

Press catch hooks (4) and pull removal fixtures (1) out of multimedia connection unit (2)

Install

Connect electrical connector (3)

Insert multimedia connection unit (2) into center console until catch hooks (4) engage in center console



Check

Perform function check of multimedia connection unit (2)
