 Warning

Injury hazard from pinching and crushing, in extreme cases extremities can even be cut off when caught in windshield wiper mechanism.

When working on the windshield wiper mechanism, always switch off the ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (at least 2 m).

Remove/install

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2  m)

Mount wiper arm (1)


Do not allow wiper arm (1) to fold back uncontrolled.
Otherwise, damage can occur on front windshield or wiper blade (2).

Release release lever (arrow) at bracket (3), and pull wiper blade (2) with bracket (3) downwards off wiper arm (1)


Do not allow wiper arm (1) to fold back uncontrolled.
Otherwise, damage can occur on front windshield or wiper blade (2).

 Installation:
Bracket (3) must noticeably engage on wiper arm (1).
Otherwise, wiper blade (2) can come loose from wiper arm (1).

 Installation: Do not release release lever (arrow) at bracket (3).

Install in the reverse order



Check

Perform function check of windshield washer system and windshield wiper system


