Removal, installation

Remove top section of instrument panel

Fold insulating mat (1) in area of instrument cluster back toward front

Disconnect 2-pin CAN connector (2)

Disconnect 2-pin connector for transponder coil (3)

Disconnect 18-pin connector (4)

Aid for connecting and disconnecting

Press retaining tabs (arrows) apart

Remove IR DAS control module (N54/1) from base plate (5)

When replacing control module or remote control key always indicate the lock number and chassis no., because the two parts are matched to one another

Installation: insert rear retaining lug on IR DAS control module (N54/1) into base plate (5)
After replacing IR DAS control module (N54/1) perform version coding according to Diagnosis Manual, Body
